Horton Hears a Who! (2008)
Horton the Elephant struggles to protect a microscopic community from his neighbors who refuse to believe it exists.
Plot Summary:
One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can't see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Still, Horton stands by the motto that, "After all, a person is a person, no matter how small."

On the 15th of May in the jungle of Nool the heat of the day and the cool of the pool he was splashing enjoying the jungle’s great joy! Horton the elephant heard a small noise. Then Mrs. Jane Kangaroo was a sour kangaroo the type that she knows better than you, she made every law and enforces every rule as a self complaint to her the jungle of Nool. So while kangaroo stood there sneering her sneer.
Once again the speck floated right behind Horton’s ear and he heard it again just a very faint yelp as if a tiny person calling for help and you know what he thought? He thought that there must have been someone on top of the small speck of dust or even a family that is might be so, a family with children starting to grow.
Now some people out there might know who agree with that sour kangaroo well there couldn’t be as small people as mice well there can and there are! Horton was right!
That single "Hello" travel all the way down to the speck through the clouds found a small town. A town known as Who Ville for their lives the Who’s, happy and safe and only good news is aware that their world is a speck on a clover!
